Association of entrepreneurs of Israel was founded by the Israeli Federation of Chambers of Commerce in 1992.

Purposes and Spheres of Activity

· Association of businessmen - repatriates and promotion of their interests
· Development and advancement of business initiative among repatriates
· Development and strengthening of the collaboration with business circles in Israel and abroad.
· Lobbying of API members' interests in state and public organizations, as well as in international economic structures.
· Cooperation with state, public and commercial structures

 Collaboration

API tightly collaborates with several organizations and structures which support business initiatives: Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Employment, Israeli office of small and medium-sized businesses, Ministry of Absorption, Israeli section of "Joint", Jewish Agency (Sohnut) and others. The main purpose of this collaboration: lobbying of entrepreneurs-repatriates and creation of favorable conditions for a successful integration into business circles and into the Israeli market.

International activity

· API is in relation with Jewish communities and organizations, which are active in several countries and encourages their participation in the business life of Israel
· Printed publications of API are distributed in Jewish centers and Israeli representative offices in Russia and CIS countries
· API organizes and carries out in CIS countries seminars on the theme: "Private entrepreneurship in Israel"
· API organizes and receives delegations from different countries in order to develop and reinforce bilateral business contacts.
· API makes a significant contribution in the development of commercial relations, using repatriates' business ties in their original countries. Businesses, developed by members of the Association supply countries of CIS with a production which equals millions dollars.

Business trainings

API is specialized in development and realization of educational programs in management. In this field different programs are carried out: courses, seminars, congresses, conferences, business club. Subjects of these trainings:
- International trade
- Practical marketing
- Psychology business contacts
- Business Hebrew / Business English
- Internet as a instrument of business development
- Reading and analysis of financial documentation
- Specific preparation to participation in auction

Projects

API offers tailor-made projects (together with "Joint Israel" and the Ministry of Absorption) for women repatriates and not only. Participation in a project allows those who wish among new Israel inhabitants to solve their job placement problem.
API offers program of business accompaniment provided by a personal business consultant, who will conduct all necessary checking, will compose an individual program for the adjustments of financial models, will help to elaborate a development program for the near future.

Publishing activity

The association publishes a newspaper in Russian - "Iskiton": business and financial-economic publication. Our newspaper is dealing with most interesting events, happening in the economy and in Israeli markets and abroad. It also publishes materials with legal nature, which have a link to the management process of small and mid-sized businesses, Stock exchange and economic surveys, analytical articles, consultations and advises from specialists, articles about flourishing companies...
